Promega Products Redesign

I joined a small, cross funtional team and planned a product catalog redesign. I then served as the lead developer and created modern, responsive product and category pages that met both marketing and scientific needs. Finally, I implemented Coveo to help users find the right product in a catalog of over 3000 products.

Project Description

Waterfall was used for project management and the cross functional team determined the order and scope of tasks. We met for half of each day while planning the project and then bi-weekely during development to check-in and address any issues or delays.

This redesign brought modern, responsive design to all pages on promega.com with new group and category pages that help direct users to the products they need. It also launched new product pages that serve as both a marketing platform and reference point for all information related to the product.

Behind the scenes, it introduced the Experience Editor and componentization. Additionally, Editors can now create targeted marketing campaigns that are regionalized, translatable, and personalizable. The content on the products landing page (https://www.promega.com/products) is now dynamic and easily maintained.
