I helped develop and launch isaca.org using Sitecore 9, Sitecore Commerce, and Coveo. It replaced a large and heavily customized SharePoint website and required dozens of integrations. During the project I led the Coveo integration, a product registration and checkout process, and multilingual functionality. I also served as a full stack developer and built a range of features for internal and external users.
Waterfall was used for project management and I worked with project managers, business analysts, QA, and a consultancy, XCentium.
I was also part of a cross-functional team tasked with planning the website redesign by incorporating data-driven personalization, customer focused content and segmentation, and a seamless e-commerce experience. Additionally, I am the lead developer on the project implementing a modern, responsive design on top of a new Sitecore architecture that is flexible, component-driven, and maintainable. It was a great challenge to navigate different perspectives, coordinate with large teams, and architect this new website.
The prior website had done well servicing 2.5 million visitors a year in 10 different languages, but was showing it's age. Many projects had been bolted on over a 15+ year period and the resulting codebase and architecture was fragmented and difficult to maintain. One of my goals is to present a more performant, consistent, and standard based implementation that met the growing needs of their community of editors.
The Promega homepage has been redesigned since I worked there 7 years ago but you can view the current site below:
