Razl Test Connection Fails

January 25, 2022

When you are creating new connections in Razl, you may encounter the error below:

The connector test failed. The reason is 'An error ocurred while making the HTTP request to https://your.domain/_CMP/RazlService.asmx'. This could be due to the fact that the server certificate is not configured properly with HTTP.SYS in the HTTPS case. This could also be caused by a mismatch of the security binding between the client and server.'

Razl Connection Error

This error may be caused by trying to connect to a TLS 1.2 website. Azure App Services default to TLS 1.2 and Razl does not (at the time of writing). You can configure Razl to use TLS 1.2 by selecting the gear icon (Settings) in the toolbar. Then check the Use TLS 1.2 for Https requests.
